TechFlow news — On January 18, according to Politico, since the election day, crypto firms including Ripple, Coinbase, Kraken, Robinhood, and Circle have contributed at least $10 million to Trump’s inaugural fund. These donations will finance grand official events during the inauguration period, while executives have flocked to Washington in preparation for the new president's swearing-in ceremony on Monday.
A key focus for participants in the crypto sector is the digital asset advisory committee that Trump has pledged to establish, which will be led by incoming White House crypto and artificial intelligence expert David Sacks and former North Carolina congressional candidate Bo Hines. A Washington-based cryptocurrency lobbyist, speaking anonymously, said nearly everyone in the crypto industry is now vying for a seat on this committee.
