Within this sector, Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) rose 37.82%, Hive AI (BUZZ) increased by 25.78%, and Ava AI (AVA) gained 22.11%. Tokens related to the Virtuals Protocol ecosystem performed poorly today; apart from VIRTUAL edging up 0.44%, AIXBT, GAME, and LUNA declined by -3.03%, -10.87%, and -4.60% respectively.
In other sectors, the Meme sector rose 0.52%, with Dogecoin (DOGE) gaining 2.35%. Peanut the Squirrel (PNUT) may have benefited from expectations of a Coinbase listing, rising 3.03% over 24 hours. The PayFi sector increased 0.49%, led by top project XRP (XRP), which gained 1.31%. Meanwhile, the Layer 1 sector dropped -1.11%, DeFi fell -1.81%, Layer 2 declined -1.94%, and the NFT sector slumped -3.39%.
