CEO Paolo Ardoino revealed that the company has recruited 30 AI platform development professionals in recent months and plans to hire AI filmmakers across regions including Asia-Pacific, Europe, and South America.
Ardoino stated that AI is a key strategic direction for Tether, and the company will elaborate on its AI strategy—centered on financial freedom—at the upcoming AI Week in Italy this May, with a focus on open-source technology, peer-to-peer (P2P) systems, and privacy protection. Tether aims to double its workforce to 200 employees by mid-2025. In a December interview last year, Ardoino indicated the company could achieve over $10 billion in profit by the end of 2024.
