TechFlow news, according to Bloomberg, stablecoin issuer Tether is actively expanding into the AI field. CEO Paolo Ardoino revealed that the company has recruited 30 AI platform development professionals in recent months and plans to hire AI filmmakers across regions including Asia-Pacific, Europe, and South America.
Ardoino stated that AI is a key strategic direction for Tether, and the company will elaborate on its AI strategy—centered on financial freedom—at the upcoming AI Week in Italy this May, with a focus on open-source technology, peer-to-peer (P2P) systems, and privacy protection. Tether aims to double its workforce to 200 employees by mid-2025. In a December interview last year, Ardoino indicated the company could achieve over $10 billion in profit by the end of 2024.
