TechFlow News, January 10 — According to official announcements, the Bitcoin Layer2 network Stacks has successfully completed a 500% network bandwidth expansion upgrade, now live on the mainnet. Core developers plan to continue implementing several further optimizations in 2025.
As previously reported by BlockBeats, on October 29, Stacks' Nakamoto upgrade successfully launched, introducing "Fast Blocks" and "Bitcoin Finality" mechanisms to enhance transaction speed. Following the Nakamoto upgrade, Stacks block production operates independently from Bitcoin block production, enabling user transactions to be confirmed within seconds.
