TechFlow news — On January 9, according to Fox News reporter Eleanor Terrett, the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services officially announced its new leadership structure. Bryan Steil (WI-01) will serve as chairman of the Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology, and Artificial Intelligence; Bill Huizenga (MI-04) will be the committee's vice chair; and Mike Haridopolos (FL-08) will serve as the committee whip.
In other key appointments, Ann Wagner (MO-02) will lead the Subcommittee on Capital Markets; Andy Barr (KY-06) will chair the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions; Warren Davidson (OH-08) will oversee the Subcommittee on National Security, Illicit Finance, and International Financial Institutions. Additionally, Dan Meuser (PA-09) and Mike Flood (NE-01) will serve as chairs of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations and the Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance, respectively.
