TechFlow news — On January 7, according to official announcements, Digital Currency Group (DCG), the parent company of Grayscale, revealed that it has become a training and validation node operator on FLock.io, a decentralized AI training platform. As a key operator of training and validation nodes, DCG will actively participate in the long-term development of the FLock ecosystem, supporting the advancement of AI infrastructure. Additionally, DCG holds a significant amount of $FLOCK tokens.
Since the mainnet launch of the $FLOCK token, FLock.io has attracted attention and participation from multiple institutions. Other notable institutional node operators include Tensorplex (one of the largest miners on the Bittensor network) and A41 (South Korea's largest node operator).
Reportedly, FLock.io is a decentralized AI co-creation platform that combines federated learning with blockchain technology to promote data sharing and collaboration. In 2024, the project became the only AI initiative to receive academic funding from the Ethereum Foundation and was the first Web3 project to present its innovative achievements at the Royal Society in the UK.
