TechFlow reports on January 7 that, according to an official announcement, Solana restaking platform Solayer has released its 2025 roadmap, which includes launching Solayer InfiniSVM—a SVM blockchain supporting hardware acceleration. This network will leverage SDN and RDMA technologies to achieve an infinitely scalable multi-execution cluster architecture, reaching network speeds of up to 100 Gbps while maintaining atomic state consistency. Solayer InfiniSVM aims to address issues arising from Solana's current bandwidth consumption of nearly 0.8 Gbps per validator, such as validator propagation failures, disconnections, and consensus disruption. Additionally, the blockchain will adopt a hybrid Proof-of-Authority and Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism.
