TechFlow news, on January 6, according to SoSoValue data, the crypto market saw a slight uptick, with the DePIN sector leading gains at 3.54%. Within the sector, Filecoin (FIL) rose 11.48%, likely influenced by the announcement that Bithumb will list FIL/KRW trading pair, while io.net (IO) gained 5.34% and Render (RENDER) increased 3.21%.
Meanwhile, AI Agents and Hyperliquid ecosystem continued to correct, falling -5.82% and -3.74% respectively. In the AI Agents sector, Virtuals Protocol ecosystem tokens VIRTUAL, AIXBT, GAME, LUNA, and VADER dropped -6.21%, -2.99%, -18.20%, -13.65%, and -10.88% respectively. ai16z (AI16Z) declined -9%, and Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) fell -7%. Additionally, within the Hyperliquid ecosystem, HYPE, HFUN, and PURR decreased -3.98%, -4.89%, and -6.99% respectively.
In other sectors, Layer 2 rose 2.36%, with Movement (MOVE) up 10.35% and Arbitrum (ARB) gaining 5.39%. GameFi increased 2.33%, DeFi rose 1.48%, and Layer 1 climbed 0.78%, while RWA and Meme sectors saw minor declines of -0.05% and -0.88% respectively.
