TechFlow reports on January 3 that the Solana Virtual Machine SOON will launch its Alpha mainnet today. SOON is defined as the most efficient Rollup stack based on Decoupled SVM (Solana Virtual Machine) technology.
SOON is a Rollup stack designed to operate on Ethereum and other blockchains, running atop the Ethereum network. By leveraging Rollup technology, it aims to address scalability challenges and high transaction fees faced by large-scale networks, especially Ethereum. Technical specifications are as follows:
- Block time: 50 milliseconds;
- Throughput: Reached 30,000 TPS (transactions per second) on testnet;
- Transaction volume: Processed 950,000 transactions within one month, demonstrating exceptional performance in scalability and speed.
