TechFlow news, on December 30, the NEAR Infrastructure Council (IC) released its annual summary for 2024 and development roadmap for 2025. In 2024, the IC reviewed 99 proposals and approved 24 of them, supporting the development of major native wallets such as HERE Wallet and Meteor Wallet, and successfully migrating RPC services to decentralized providers like Lava.
In 2025, the IC will focus on four key areas: continuously improving existing infrastructure, establishing dedicated working groups, optimizing cross-chain infrastructure (including single sign-on between NEAR and Solana, oracles, etc.), and investing in decentralized AI infrastructure development. The council is composed of technical leaders from the NEAR ecosystem, including NEAR One, Aurora, and Pagoda.
