TechFlow news — On December 26, Dan Morehead, founder of Pantera Capital, said in a recent interview with Bankless that Bitcoin has already grown to such a scale that we can't possibly see another 1000x increase, as that would consume all the energy on Earth.
However, a further 10x rise to a $15 trillion market cap is entirely possible when compared to the total global financial assets of $500 trillion. Morehead added that he wouldn't speculate about the situation 50 years from now, but within our current investment cycle—over a 5-10 year time frame—it is completely reasonable for Bitcoin to achieve another 10x gain from current levels, without appearing crazy or overvalued.
