TechFlow reported, according to Reuters citing sources familiar with the matter, that the Biden administration plans to add Sophgo, an AI company linked to Bitmain, to the U.S. Department of Commerce's trade restriction list, over allegations that chips manufactured by TSMC were illegally incorporated into Huawei's artificial intelligence processors.
Previous report, Sophgo, a computing chip company affiliated with Bitmain, released a statement denying any business dealings with Huawei.
