TechFlow news — On December 18, according to CoinDesk, Patchwork, a blockchain development project founded by former Coinbase developers and backed by Coinbase Ventures, has released an updated version of its no-code development tool, Create-Patchwork. Deployed on the Base Layer-2 network, the tool plans to roll out additional features in early 2025, aiming to generate smart contracts and applications within seconds using natural language inputs.
Kevin Day, co-founder of Patchwork, said the protocol supports functions such as on-chain asset ownership transfer, smart contract audit tagging, and reputation scoring. Day previously contributed to the development of decentralized exchange Paradex, which was acquired by Coinbase in early 2018. The new version will focus on improving usability for blockchain application development and lowering the barrier to entry for developers.
