TechFlow reported on December 17 that Nirvana Finance, an algorithmic stablecoin protocol in the Solana ecosystem, announced its relaunch and opened claims for compensation from its hack incident, while launching Nirvana V2, offering priority access to original ANA token holders. The project was previously attacked in July 2022 by hacker Shakeeb Ahmed, who exploited a smart contract vulnerability, resulting in approximately $3.6 million in losses. Ahmed was sentenced to three years in prison in April this year, becoming the first individual convicted for a smart contract attack.
