TechFlow news: The Sui Foundation has announced the launch of the DeepBook Protocol RFP Grant Program, aimed at encouraging innovative development aligned with the Sui ecosystem and DeepBook's needs through direct financial support, promoting community collaboration and technological advancement.
Developers or teams can submit proposals until December 31, 2024. Each proposal will be evaluated based on its alignment with RFP requirements and overall project feasibility, screened by a dedicated RFP committee, with final grantees determined through a voting process. Additionally, to ensure transparency and accountability, selected developers or teams must complete identity verification and sign a grant agreement outlining project milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
Launched in 2023, DeepBook is Sui's first native liquidity layer. Operating as a public good, DeepBook serves DeFi on Sui by providing a decentralized central limit order book that supports both market and limit orders. The RFP program plays a crucial role in incentivizing developers to propose solutions tailored to specific needs and in accelerating the incubation of tools essential for Sui's ecosystem growth.
