TechFlow news, December 16 — CoinGecko released a research report on Bitcoin's Christmas market performance: Over the past decade, Bitcoin has generally shown an upward trend during the Christmas period, with an average price increase of 1.3% around Christmas. Specifically, Bitcoin rose in seven out of the ten years during the week before Christmas, with gains ranging from 0.20% to 13.19%. After Christmas, prices increased five times, with涨幅 between 0.33% and 10.86%.
The largest pre-Christmas gain was recorded in 2016, at 13.19%, while the biggest decline occurred in 2017, with a drop of 21.30%. In other years, minor corrections of 1.37% and 0.11% occurred before Christmas in 2015 and 2019 respectively, while post-Christmas declines ranged between 0.04% and 6.42%.
