TechFlow reported on December 12 that, according to Decrypt, Microsoft released the voting results of its annual general meeting, where a proposal to purchase Bitcoin received only 0.55% support—approximately 28.234 million votes in favor versus 5.148 billion opposed. Microsoft's board had previously recommended rejecting the proposal, citing Bitcoin's high volatility as potentially harmful to shareholder interests. Additionally, Microsoft acknowledged that companies should assess the possibility of allocating at least 1% of assets to Bitcoin and stated that its global financial investment team will continue monitoring the development trends of cryptocurrencies.
