TechFlow news, on December 9, Zilliqa announced the official launch of Aventurine Proto-Mainnet as the final testnet prior to the Zilliqa 2.0 mainnet upgrade. This update introduces several core features, including support for EVM and Scilla smart contract interoperability, delegation staking and liquid staking mechanisms, as well as dApp integration and token migration capabilities.
It is reported that Zilliqa 2.0 has partnered with cross-chain protocol Wanchain to provide cross-chain bridging services for the Cardano ecosystem. Meanwhile, liquid staking protocol LSP has confirmed joining as a validator.
