TechFlow news, on December 5, according to Bitcoin.com, Russian President Putin stated at VTB Bank's "Russia Calling!" forum that digital currencies will play an important role in the BRICS investment platform.
The digital ruble pilot has currently covered 9,000 citizens and 1,200 enterprises, with plans for full rollout by July 2025. Next year, it will first be applied in settlements within the federal budget system. This investment platform will connect BRICS member countries including Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.
Previous report, Putin said no one can ban Bitcoin, nor can anyone prohibit the use of other electronic payment methods.
