TechFlow reported that Spectral has released a post-incident analysis of the attack on its Syntax platform via social media:
"On December 1, 2024, Spectral's Syntax platform experienced a security breach. The following remediation steps are currently underway:
· Contract Update: The vulnerability in the bonding curve contract has been identified and fixed to prevent future exploitation.
· Additional Third-party Audit: Zellic has been engaged to audit the updated contracts.
· Fund Restoration: SPEC tokens are being replenished to restore the bonding curve to its pre-breach state.
We are currently focused on restoring trust through these measures. Operations will swiftly resume upon completion of the audit."
