TechFlow news, on November 28, Victor Ji, co-founder of modular Layer 2 project Manta Network, published a lengthy post on his personal X (Twitter) account positioning Manta as a platform bringing emerging market users and cutting-edge technologies to Ethereum. Victor stated that the Manta team comprises members from over 15 countries, creating a highly diverse team and community similar to Solana, with active communities in Indonesia, Vietnam, Turkey, Russian-speaking regions, South Korea, and beyond. After product launch, Manta expects to reach up to 10 million users in Indonesia alone.
Manta is preparing to integrate infrastructure from the BTC and Solana ecosystems, utilizing BTC and MANTA as restaking assets to enhance economic security and enable fast finality for Manta blocks—reducing withdrawal times from existing Layer 2s from three days down to under one hour. In addition to its EVM environment, Manta plans to support other environments such as SVM in the future. Manta is also developing a new product focused on MEMEs.
