It was reported that the number of daily streams on the platform grew more than 100-fold in less than a week, forcing the platform to take down hundreds of violating streams each day. To address the content management challenges brought by this rapid growth, pump.fun has doubled its team of human moderators and increased investment in its automated moderation systems. The platform stated it will release more transparent usage guidelines and improve visibility for creators and users regarding moderation decisions.
pump.fun emphasized it will continue taking strict measures against inappropriate content, including removing violating token images, names, descriptions, and comments, as well as flagging NSFW content. As one of the most popular user-generated content platforms in the cryptocurrency space, pump.fun is facing challenges similar to those encountered by other social platforms during their growth phases.
