TechFlow news, on November 21, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) posted on a social platform stating that in fiscal year 2024, the U.S. Congress allocated up to $516 billion in funding to federal programs whose legal authorizations have expired, with approximately $320 billion (about 62%) corresponding to programs whose authorizations have lapsed for over 10 years.
