TechFlow news, on November 19, according to The Block, tokenization service provider Securitize has launched an innovative "sToken" architecture, enabling institutional investors to earn RWA yields while enhancing liquidity. Developed on the Ethereum ERC-4626 token standard, this framework is a collaboration between Securitize Credit and the synthetic dollar project Elixir. BlackRock's BUIDL token will be the first asset to join the "deUSD RWA Institutional Program."
BUIDL is currently the largest on-chain money market fund, with over $520 million in assets under management, primarily invested in short-term U.S. Treasury securities. The program will later support other assets such as Hamilton Lane’s SCOPE fund. Through this architecture, BUIDL token holders can convert their assets into Elixir’s decentralized U.S. dollar token deUSD while continuing to earn returns from their original investments.
