TechFlow news, November 13 — According to The Block, UK fintech firm Revolut has expanded its cryptocurrency trading platform, Revolut X, to 30 new markets across Europe. Launched earlier this year in the UK, Revolut X requires users to have a Revolut account based in the European Economic Area or the UK, and offers trading for over 200 cryptocurrencies, real-time trading analytics, and market monitoring tools integrated with TradingView charts.
Revolut claims to have more than 45 million global users and has offered cryptocurrency trading services since 2017. The company says the majority of funds are stored in cold wallets and employs risk monitoring tools to prevent security breaches. Leonid Bashlykov, Head of Product for Revolut's cryptocurrency trading division, stated that the expansion of Revolut X aims to provide a strong alternative for experienced traders. It is also reported that Revolut is developing its own stablecoin.
