TechFlow news, on November 13, according to Cointelegraph, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump hinted that he plans to bypass the Senate confirmation process when appointing members of his administration, which could include replacing Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chair Gary Gensler. In an X post on November 10, Trump expressed hope that the incoming Senate majority leader would agree to make recess appointments, circumventing the confirmation process and allowing individuals to take key positions "immediately." Under the U.S. Constitution, the president has the authority to fill vacancies during Senate recesses, but such appointments are intended to be temporary. Currently, Trump has not publicly nominated any potential successor to Gensler.
