Drake stated that over the past year, he has been designing from scratch a new proposal to re-architect Ethereum's consensus layer, aiming to establish a viable strategy for launching an ambitious Beacon Chain roadmap within a reasonable timeframe. After months of collaboration with researchers and consensus developers, Drake is now ready to present his proposal publicly. He emphasized that community involvement will be crucial if this new approach achieves initial consensus. Previously, Drake listed his talk on the Devcon schedule with the title "[title redacted]" to maintain an air of mystery.
