TechFlow news, November 5 — According to CNN, Kate Conley, senior advisor at the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), said that despite extreme weather and temporary infrastructure disruptions in certain areas, no nation-state significant incidents impacting election infrastructure security have been detected so far.
Several key swing states, including Wisconsin, are currently affected by a severe cold front system bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. Wisconsin faces the most serious weather conditions, with the Storm Prediction Center issuing a Level 1 storm alert (on a scale of 5) for most parts of the state.
Conley emphasized that all observed infrastructure disruptions remain within expected ranges, and relevant authorities are prepared. However, she declined to provide specific details about the affected regions.
