TechFlow reported on October 30 that, according to CoinDesk, AI data collection startup Sapien has raised $10.5 million in a seed funding round led by Variant, with participation from Primitive Ventures, Animoca, Yield Game Guild, and HF0. The Sapien team is led by Rowan Stone, former co-founder of Coinbase's Layer2 network Base, and Trevor Koverko, founder of Polymath and author of the RWA standard ERC1400. Sapien rewards data providers using the USDC stablecoin or a points-based incentive system.
