TechFlow news, on October 30, Over Protocol, a lightweight node protocol for L1 blockchains, announced details of its airdrop distribution and opened airdrop inquiries. The airdrop will be distributed after mainnet launch (expected between late this year and early next year). Over Protocol has allocated 15% of the total token supply to the Community Access Program (OCAP), with 54.5 million OVER tokens (5.45%) specifically designated for the airdrop program, while the remaining tokens will support marketing, liquidity provision, grant programs, and ecosystem funds. Airdrop amounts are determined based on scores from OverWallet tasks and testnet participation. Users can currently check their airdrop allocation via the Airdrop Checker within the OverFlex app (currently OverWallet).
Among the allocations, 30 million tokens (3% of total supply) are distributed to OverWallet users, with 418,215 valid participants; 10 million tokens are allocated to OverNode users, with 52,607 valid participants; 10 million tokens are allocated to Nethers NFT holders (3,945 people); 3 million tokens are distributed to participants of OKX Cryptopedia Season 16 (469,869 people); and 1 million tokens are jointly distributed to participants who completed Sybil detection tasks on HashKey Global.
Over Protocol stated that the airdrop program is based on three key criteria: honesty, diligence, and score, with two rounds of Sybil detection conducted to verify honesty and prevent multi-accounting and bot activity. "Diligent contributors" who cannot be fully assessed through Sybil detection may apply for additional verification via a Google form.
