TechFlow news — On October 24, Binance CEO Richard Teng announced on X that Tigran Gambaryan has been released after nearly eight months of detention in Nigeria. The previous day, the Nigerian government dropped all charges against Tigran Gambaryan.
Richard Teng stated that Tigran demonstrated immense strength and resilience amid severe adversity. His health and well-being are now the top priority, and he will receive necessary medical care and rest with his family.
Richard Teng also emphasized that Binance remains committed to collaborating with regulators worldwide to ensure compliance and transparency in the digital asset industry. He added that Nigeria, as a young and tech-savvy nation, is fully capable of leveraging blockchain technology to address economic and social challenges, and Binance looks forward to playing a constructive role in this space.
Earlier yesterday, the Nigerian government dropped charges against Binance executives.
