TechFlow news, October 23 — According to Bloomberg Terminal information, as the BRICS summit opened in Kazan, Russia, cryptocurrency has been placed on the agenda. Russian lawmakers are advancing a proposal enabling Russian miners to sell their tokens to international buyers, while domestic buyers could use BitCity and other cryptocurrencies to pay for imported goods, effectively circumventing Western sanctions. U.S. economist Richard Wolf, professor emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, commented on the situation, stating that the BRICS alliance is surpassing the United States, which has already peaked. The U.S. is in decline and attempting to maintain its international dominance.
