TechFlow news, on October 21, according to Cointelegraph, the European Commission announced the launch of its "Trusted Investors Network" initiative, aimed at attracting venture capital into deep-tech sectors such as biotechnology and artificial intelligence. European Commissioner Iliana Ivanova stated that the network has already brought together 71 European investors managing over €90 billion (approximately $98 billion) in assets, committed to investing in European deep-tech companies.
The initiative focuses particularly on biotechnology and semiconductors for AI development, aiming to strengthen the EU's position in global technological innovation. The European Central Bank previously released a report calling for accelerated and expanded investment in Europe’s technology sector to maintain competitiveness.
