TechFlow news, October 17 — Global financial services company Euroclear announced today that it has acquired a strategic equity stake in Marketnode, Singapore's digital market infrastructure operator. The transaction amount was not disclosed.
Founded in 2021 by Singapore Exchange (SGX Group) and Temasek, Marketnode is an Asia-Pacific financial market infrastructure based on distributed ledger technology (DLT). The company operates two main platforms: Gateway and Fundnode, focusing on tokenization and fund management respectively. In May this year, HSBC also invested in Marketnode.
Philippe Laurensy, CEO of Euroclear Asia-Pacific, said the partnership reflects both parties' shared commitment to leveraging Euroclear’s global network, mature fund infrastructure, and digital capabilities to develop next-generation fund market infrastructure.
