TechFlow news — Rune Christensen, co-founder of Sky (formerly Maker), tweeted that since the Sky protocol upgrade on September 18, USDS, SKY tokens, USDS savings rates, and token rewards have been fully operational. Currently, USDS supply has surpassed 570 million, with a net inflow of 200 million.
USDS and SKY have been widely integrated across major frontends, wallets, and applications in the Ethereum ecosystem. Rune also revealed a series of upcoming features and major integrations planned for the coming months, including the flagship Sky Aave Force integration, launching USDS and SKY on Solana, the SKY early bird airdrop, the SKY Seal module, SkyLink on L2, full launch of Spark, and activation of SKY and SPK.
Rune emphasized that this is just the beginning—Sky will continue to parallelize ecosystem expansion through the Star model, consistently roll out innovative features, incubate and launch more Star projects, and enhance efficiency, speed, and security via AI governance and data tools.
