TechFlow news, on September 25, according to The Block, SEC Chairman Gary Gensler faced intense bipartisan questioning from Congress during a hearing regarding cryptocurrency industry regulation. Republican Majority Whip Tom Emmer engaged in a heated exchange with Gensler over the DEBT Box case.
In March this year, a federal judge in Utah criticized the SEC's handling of the case, finding the agency acted in bad faith, and ordered the SEC to pay sanctions, including attorneys' fees and litigation costs.
