TechFlow reports, on September 25, according to The Block, Circle, the issuer of the USDC stablecoin, has launched a new compliance tool for programmable wallets. Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire announced the service, called "Compliance Engine," on social platform X, aiming to help "businesses build on-chain while meeting stringent compliance requirements." The tool offers transaction screening capabilities to detect risks and suspicious transfers, along with monitoring tools to identify potentially high-risk activities. It also includes services compliant with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) "Travel Rule" requirements.
The Compliance Engine supports all blockchains connected to Circle's existing programmable wallet tools, including Avalanche, Ethereum, Polygon, and Solana. Developers will be charged under a monthly "pay-as-you-go" model.
