TechFlow news — On September 24, according to The Information, AI startup Anthropic is in talks for a new funding round that could value the company between $30 billion and $40 billion, nearly doubling its valuation from the previous round completed earlier this year.
Anthropic is known for its conversational AI product Claude, generating revenue by selling access to the model. The current funding discussions are still in early stages, and the final valuation may be subject to change. In July, prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firm Menlo Ventures participated in a previously undisclosed funding round of over $750 million, becoming one of Anthropic's largest investors.
