TechFlow reported on September 21 that leveraged yield protocol Shezmu announced one of its vaults had been exploited, urging users not to interact with its DApp until further notice. The Shezmu team has successfully recovered 282.18 ETH from a white-hat bounty hunter. Currently, Shezmu has suspended all interactions with its DApp and pledged to report the incident to the highest legal authorities if the remaining funds are not returned within 24 hours.
Earlier report, according to monitoring by Ancilia, the attack may have stemmed from a private key leak, allowing the hacker to mint an additional 9,900 ShezETH tokens and swap them for ETH.
