TechFlow news, on September 21, according to Emberscan monitoring, Chainlink unlocked and transferred 18.75 million LINK from five non-circulating supply addresses within the past 5 hours, with a total value of approximately $214.6 million. Of this amount, 18.125 million (about $207.5 million) were transferred to Binance, and 625,000 (around $7.15 million) were sent to the multi-sig address 0xD50...8Af.
It is reported that every three months, Chainlink unlocks approximately 20 million LINK from non-circulating supply addresses. The majority is directly transferred to Binance, while a smaller portion goes to the 0xD50...8Af address for distribution as LINK staking rewards. Since 2022, about 133.4 million LINK (approximately $1.29 billion) have been unlocked and flowed into Binance in this manner, at an average transfer price of $9.69. Although large quantities of LINK are unlocked quarterly and流入 Binance, each such transfer has not caused significant drops in the LINK price.
