TechFlow news, September 20 — According to Cointelegraph, the official YouTube channel of India's Supreme Court was hacked and used to promote Ripple and XRP-related scams. The channel, which has over 217,000 subscribers, was transformed into a Ripple-themed account that streamed fake live videos impersonating Ripple Labs CEO Brad Garlinghouse. Scammers promised unrealistic investment returns to lure victims into participating. YouTube subsequently removed the compromised channel. Such scams are typically accompanied by phishing links that, once users connect their crypto wallets, allow hackers full control to drain funds.
