TechFlow news, September 19 — According to Coindesk, Commerzbank, Germany's second-largest bank, announced on Thursday a partnership with Crypto Finance, a subsidiary of Deutsche Boerse Group, to offer cryptocurrency trading services to corporate clients in Germany. The service will launch on September 19, 2024, initially focusing on Bitcoin and Ethereum trading.
Gernot Kleckner, Head of Corporate Clients in Capital Markets at Commerzbank, said: "Our digital asset services enable corporate clients, for the first time, to seize opportunities presented by Bitcoin and Ethereum. The solution we provide together with Deutsche Boerse Group represents the highest security standards in crypto asset trading and custody." Previous report, Commerzbank obtained a German cryptocurrency custody license in November 2023, laying the foundation for offering a wide range of digital asset-related services. Under this collaboration, Commerzbank will be responsible for custody services, while Crypto Finance will handle digital asset trading execution.
