TechFlow news — On September 17, Binance's official Chinese-language account posted on social media clarifying that recent screenshots circulating within the Chinese-speaking community about a prominent influencer’s group chat, which sparked discussions regarding Binance "front-running," turned out to be a misunderstanding. The listed project listings mentioned in the screenshots were merely speculative "win rate" predictions based on assumptions by a secondary trader, not insider information.
Binance takes such matters very seriously and will strictly handle any confirmed cases of information leakage or corruption. Binance encourages reporting any leads related to listing-related or other forms of corrupt practices. If verified, and if Binance personnel are involved, the company will offer rewards ranging from $100,000 to $5 million while protecting the informant's personal information. Any former Binance employee found guilty of corruption will result in all future projects or funds they join being placed permanently on Binance's listing blacklist.
