TechFlow reported, according to Fox News journalist Eleanor Terrett, that on Wednesday afternoon, the Digital Chamber and Congressman Wiley Nickel's office hosted a private, policy-focused roundtable meeting dedicated to Bitcoin. Jointly organized by the Digital Chamber and Representative Wiley Nickel’s office, the event aimed to help Democratic lawmakers gain a deeper understanding of Bitcoin and its regulatory frameworks. Attendees included eight anonymous Democratic House members, along with representatives from companies such as Riot Platforms, Baker McKenzie, Auradine, TeraWulf, Sustainable BTC, and CleanSpark.
The discussion centered on Bitcoin’s applications in financial inclusion, sustainable energy use in mining, and U.S.-China competition. Participants described the meeting as productive, noting that lawmakers asked high-quality questions and demonstrated strong interest and eagerness to learn about the cryptocurrency industry.
