TechFlow reports that Aragon, a decentralized governance solution, has announced a major update for mainnet DAOs, introducing gas-free on-chain voting.
The update integrates LayerZero V2 to aggregate votes on the voting chain and leverages ZKsync's native account abstraction along with txSync's Tsuko payment sponsor functionality to subsidize gas fees for DAO members' votes.
The new feature enables DAO members to vote from any EVM chain, seamlessly aggregating votes back to the main chain via LayerZero. The Aragon team stated it will explore using RISC Zero's proof of state in the future to further streamline the voting process.
