TechFlow reports that Kampela, an innovative hardware startup, has successfully secured funding through a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) on the Polkadot network, becoming the first hardware project in the Polkadot ecosystem to receive full DAO backing.
Kampela received approximately 253,000 DOT in funding through Polkadot referenda #62, #370, and #886, equivalent to about $1 million at current DOT prices. The project utilizes NFC technology and operates without wired charging or batteries.
