TechFlow news, on September 12, according to Wall Street Insights, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said at a technology discussion hosted by Goldman Sachs that the company will expand its production capacity in the fourth quarter of 2024 and continue expanding in 2025. He emphasized that demand for the Blackwell chips is extremely strong, with every company wanting to be the first to own the product and secure the largest possible share of production capacity.
Huang predicted that the world's general-purpose data centers, worth trillions of dollars, will gradually be replaced by accelerated computing centers. He stated that NVIDIA’s advantages in algorithm optimization and architectural consistency can significantly improve customers’ total cost of ownership and competitiveness. In addition, Huang believes generative AI technology will transform the way people work, with digital assistants and AI tools becoming indispensable partners across industries. He expects the pace of innovation in AI computing to accelerate continuously, with NVIDIA achieving substantial performance improvements approximately every two years.
Following Huang’s remarks, NVIDIA's stock surged 8.15% on September 11, 2024, closing at $116.90, adding $215.8 billion—approximately RMB 1.5369 trillion—to its market value. This performance not only boosted NVIDIA’s share price but also contributed to a broader rally in the U.S. stock market.
