TechFlow reports that Lorenzo, founder of Bitcoin scaling solution Fractal Bitcoin, responded on X to security concerns previously raised by the head of StarkWare's ecosystem. Lorenzo thanked the individual for identifying the vulnerability and explained that the Docker repository containing the bitcoin.conf file was only intended for internal rapid testing and should have been removed during last month's final testnet phase.
They have now removed the bitcoin.conf file from the fractald-docker directory. Lorenzo advised that if users wish to use this Docker setup for quick testing, they should generate their own configuration files. He emphasized that the latest released version remains v0.2.1, unchanged.
