TechFlow news, according to Cointelegraph, asset management firm WisdomTree has requested to withdraw its S-1 registration filing for an Ethereum trust submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), while also requesting that the associated fees be credited for "future use." The registration statement was initially filed on May 27, 2021. In a document submitted to the SEC on September 6, the company stated: "The Company confirms that it has not issued or sold, and will not issue or sell, any securities under the registration statement." WisdomTree acknowledges that the fee paid to the U.S. SEC for the registration filing will not be refunded but requests that the amount be recorded as a "credit for future use."
