TechFlow News — NULS announced the release of mainnet version v2.20.0 on September 2, 2024, at 12:00. The new protocol will take effect after a delay of 10,000 blocks following the upgrade of 80% of nodes.
This upgrade primarily enables the use of BTC/ETH assets as gas fees, which are bridged from their native chains via NerveNetwork, NULS’s cross-chain relay network.
Additionally, the update optimizes cross-chain processing logic to reduce server load and fixes known bugs to enhance system stability.
The NULS team emphasized that this is a mandatory update, and all node operators must complete the upgrade as soon as possible. After the new protocol activates, node operators who have not upgraded will receive yellow card warnings, leading to node removal. Users who do not operate NULS nodes need not take any action.
